Ronald Palmer
LPC
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with 13 years of experience supporting individuals, couples, and families through life’s challenges. I am licensed in both South Carolina and Texas and specialize in working with anxiety, ADD/ADHD, depression, and PTSD.
My therapeutic approach is grounded in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, also known as CBT. Through CBT, I help clients better understand the connection between their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. Together, we work to identify thinking patterns that may be creating stress, emotional pain, or obstacles in daily life. My goal is to help you view challenging situations more clearly and respond to them in healthier, more effective ways.
I believe therapy should be a safe, supportive space where you can explore who you are, where you have been, and where you want to go. You do not need to have a mental health diagnosis to benefit from therapy. Counseling can also be a powerful tool for managing stress, improving relationships, building confidence, and creating meaningful personal growth.
My style is empowering, inquisitive, and warm, with room for humor when appropriate. I strive to meet each client with compassion, curiosity, and respect. Whether you are seeking individual therapy, couples counseling, or family support, I am here to help you find clarity, build resilience, and move toward the version of yourself you are ready to become.
I provide care for adolescents, adults, and seniors, and I offer therapy in English. My clinical methods include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Strength-Based Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Behavior Management, Solution-Focused Couples Therapy, and family-based approaches.

Sydney Hutson
LPC
As a Licensed Professional Counselor, I am committed to providing a supportive, compassionate, and practical space for clients who are seeking healing, clarity, and personal growth. My approach to counseling is grounded in the belief that every person has the capacity to grow, adapt, and create meaningful change when given the right support, tools, and therapeutic relationship.
My journey into mental health care began at the University of South Carolina, where I earned my bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a minor in Social Work. This foundation gave me a deeper understanding of human behavior, emotional development, relationships, and the social factors that can influence a person’s overall well-being. It also helped shape my belief that therapy should consider the whole person, including their history, environment, strengths, challenges, and goals.
I continued my education at the University of South Carolina School of Medicine, where I earned my master’s degree in Rehabilitation Counseling and later completed a Post-Master’s Certification in Mental Health Counseling. Through this training, I developed a strong clinical foundation in supporting individuals as they navigate emotional, behavioral, personal, and life adjustment challenges.
For several years, I had the privilege of working under Dr. Linda Leech, where I focused extensively on equine assisted therapy. This experience included both my internship and practicum training and gave me the opportunity to see how powerful the therapeutic process can be when clients are supported in a safe, experiential, and meaningful environment. Equine assisted therapy helped shape my understanding of trust, connection, emotional awareness, boundaries, confidence, and personal growth.
My primary therapeutic approach is Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, also known as CBT. Through CBT, I help clients better understand the connection between their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. Together, we work to identify patterns that may be contributing to stress, anxiety, depression, low self esteem, relationship challenges, or difficulty coping with life’s demands. By building insight and learning practical strategies, clients can begin to respond to challenges in healthier and more effective ways.
I strive to create a counseling environment that is warm, respectful, and collaborative. I believe therapy should be a place where clients feel heard, supported, and empowered to explore their experiences without judgment. My goal is to help individuals develop practical tools, strengthen emotional resilience, build self-awareness, and move toward lasting personal growth.
Whether you are navigating a difficult season, adjusting to major life changes, working through past experiences, or seeking a deeper understanding of yourself, I am here to support you. Together, we can work toward greater clarity, confidence, healing, and a more balanced life.
